Nepal Tourist visa Fees raised, Except Indian Nationals!
According to the media report of Nepal, Government has decided to rise Visa fees for foreign tourist from July 17’ 2019.
This decision was taken in May 2019, Department of Immigration (DoI) of Nepal said that the change in Nepal Visa fees structure was minor and the fee structure would be revised again after the completion of the Visit Nepal Year 2019.

A meeting of the Cabinet this week decided immigration regulation to increase multiple-entry tourist visa fee. As per the provision, foreigners visiting Nepal on a 15-day multiple-entry tourist visa will have to pay US$ 30.00 per person by cash.
Those obtaining 30 days multiple entry tourist visa will have to pay US$ 50 per person by cash, while those visiting Nepal on a 90 days visa will have to pay US$ 125 per person by cash. Other currencies are not acceptable to obtain the Nepal visa only US Dollar.
However, travelers from SAARC countries, except India and Afghanistan, enjoy free multiple-entry tourist visa for 30 days and US$ 3.00 per day thereafter.

While Indian nationals do not require a visa to enter Nepal (need valid original passport or voter ID card).
The government has also revised the visa fees for acquiring a trekking route permit for the foreigners.
As per the revised rates, foreigners willing to trek to Upper Mustang and Upper Dolpa have to pay US$ 500 for the first 10 days. If they plan to extend their journey beyond 10 days, they will be charged US$ 50 per day basis.
